I’m Ariel, I’m 20 years old, and I live in New York City.
I moved here July ‘10 from the Bay Area in California.
To start this thing off, this isn’t my first rodeo. In November 2010 I started this blog thinking that I would be losing 100 pounds. Well after losing 60 pounds in about 5 months (I started at 240lbs and got to 180), I gained back 35 of them over a year later and am now finding myself back on this journey. When I did it the first time around I totally thought I was being healthy, but it turns out that I was eating under 1000 calories a day, and working out for almost 2 hours a day. I was more than killing myself. I was miserable, but getting smaller. I went back home to Cali that March and was so happy with the response I was getting. But when I came back in April, I veered off course. This downward spiral continued until February 26, 2012. I heard about this “Four Hour Body” book and gave it a read. After reading it I realized I could possibly do this. And I’m going to. So, this is Part Two of my journey. This time I will make it and I will be healthy and I will have a happier life! :) Now that the boring stuff’s over, here’s some fun stuff about me!
I want nothing more in this world than to sing and act.
I play guitar. Not very well, but good enough.
I’m obsessed/in love with Lana Del Rey. And Josh Hutcherson.
I love the beach and I love big cities.
I want to travel the world. My #1 pick is AUSTRALIA .
I have to see Italy, Greece, England, Amsterdam, Ireland, etc.
